Coral Pan carafe from the back: the whistle built into the handle
Pre-Columbian terracotta whistling vessel, the inspiration for PanPan prototype: two tubes joined in a U shape, held in one hand
Pan is a musical carafe inspired by pre-Columbian ritual objects. A whistle built into the handle sounds as the water moves, so a pleasant tune accompanies the pouring. Pan's zoomorphic look is a nod to the symbolic figures that adorn these ancient objects. Made of ceramic, its plumage comes in several glaze gradients.
