CIGALES

Monolithic basin with a textured surface in front of a curved slatted wall, Zou Maë project, Design Parade Toulon 2019

Round housing whose ultrasonic sensors form a surprised face

Cigales (cicadas) is a sound installation that was part of the Zou Maë project at Design Parade Toulon 2019. Cicada sound effects were recorded and played on a loop in the room. Three ultrasonic sensors adjust the volume according to where visitors are standing.
